The Leonardo Petal Puller (patent pending) is a style of tool I designed about 3 years ago. I decided to market it for everyone to use and enjoy as much as I have. It "pulls" petals to make your flowers and leaves very easily. You can make a variety of flowers with this tool depending on how and where you put the petals. You can make orchids, pansies, daisies, roses among many others.
Make a basic flower:
1) Add frits, mix rod colors, add strips of latticino before you pull the petal.
2) Pull Petal and set the Petal on a small coffee warmer. Pull double the amount of petals you need.
3) Make a saggy tab bead and add the petals, keeping the weight of the tab bead on bottom.
4) add cane in between the petals to hide seams and give more interest.
Make a rose flower:
Make a small tube beads, add the petals to make roses. Be sure to pull a couple green leaves too.
You can also manipulate the petals with other tools such as the "ruffler" tool. The ruffler tool "crimps" the petal to give it a natural wavy look. You can heat the tip of the flower and pull or pinch the glass with tweezers to make it more of a point. Just let your imagination run wild!
