The Lampwork Blown Glass Vessels are made from borosilicate glass. Each boro vessel is wired with sterling silver wire so it can be worn on a chain, ribbon, leather cord, silk cord, stainless steel wires, etc.
The lampwork glass vessel is blown on a small stainless steel tube by first, dipping the mandrel tube in a bead release, letting dry and winding hot glass on the tube to form a hollow bead on the end. When winding the glass there cannot be any 'holes" or spaces in the glass or the hollow will deflate. Once you have the hot glass wound on the stainless steel tube and there are no spaces you can start to blow the tube out to make it larger and give it a larger cavity to hold either, perfume, essentail oils or even crematory ashes.
