LapisBlueHollowNecklaceStep

STEP ONE – Attaching the bar of the toggle.

Take a 48 inch length of Beadalon wire and thread through the loop on the bar part of your toggle. Thread 6 x 2mm round silver beads ontoone end of the wire and then pull the ends even. The beads should then pass through the loop of the toggle bar to cover the wire. Then thread a crimp bead onto both ends of the wire and crimp tight. You should then have the toggle attached, the round beads passing through the loop to cover the wire and two even lengths of wire ready to work on.

STEP 2 – Threading the beads and discs

All beads will thread onto both ends of the wire.

Thread as follows:

1 x swarovski crystal

1 x nugget bead

1 x swarovski crystal

1 x hollow bead

1 x swarovski crystal

1 x disc bead

1 x swarovski crystal

repeat the last four until the last hollow bead is threaded then repeat first three steps.

All beads are now threaded.

STEP 3 – threading the chips beads, pearls and attaching the chain

Fold the chain in half and slip the middle loop over ONE end of the wire, then thread the chip beads onto this ONE length of wire until they are the same length as the chain.

Take the SECOND length of wire and thread the pearls, again until they are the same length. Slip the two links at the end of the chain over ONE length of wire and thread a crimp bead onto BOTH lengths. Crimp tightly. Then thread one swarovski crystal, one nugget bead and a further swarovski crystal onto the TWO lengths of wire. Then cut ONE length flush to the crystal before threading another crimp bead onto your remaining length of wire. Thread the remaining 6 x 2mm round silver beads onto the wire and pass it through the loop in theround part of your toggle. Then pass the end through the crimp bead, swarovski crystal and silver nugget. Pull tightly to remove excess slack and when satisfied the tension is correct crimp the bead tightly and trim off excess wire.

STEP 4 – Attaching the toggle

If using a complete toggle set then the necklace is now complete.

If not then you will need to attach your beads/ charms to the toggle using either silver headpins or jump rings dependant on your choice of either beads or charms.

I hope you like it.
