Aside from the lampwork beads I make dichroic cabachons as well. They are abstract pieces with a "hole" in the center. They are primarily used for wire wrapping and for use with PMC (Precious Metal Clay). You can easily wire the cab into a pendant. There is no hole for stringing though. I use various dichroic on black and dichroic on clear to make the cabs.  They are cut from larger pieces and placed in an attractive way and fused to about 1500 degrees. There are a variety of colors and basically 2 shapes, the triangular shape and the tower shape. The tower shape is a bit longer and more of a rectangle. You can wire these anyway you want. Just add it to a chain or design it into a fabulous piece of jewelry. Check my production rounds for accent beads to go with your fused focal.
